We are proud to continue partnering and collaborating with ScienceAbroad as part of the Zuckerman STEM Leadership program’s outreach to Israeli scientists in North America.

ScienceAbroad, a non-profit organization connecting Israeli scientists worldwide since 2006, supports over 11,000 researchers, doctors, and medical students through 40+ centers and virtual discipline-based hubs. It provides tools and networks to help researchers return to Israel, contributing their expertise to academia and industry. The organization supports scientists and their families throughout their journey, from post-doctorates abroad to reintegration in Israel, while advocating for expanded research opportunities. Recently, ScienceAbroad has focused on the medical field, fostering communities of medical fellows to encourage their return and strengthen Israel’s scientific and medical sectors.

The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program supports Science Abroad’s annual meetings with presentations, briefings and recruitment events in partnership with the 23 ScienceAbroad managers who are involved in creating a dynamic network for Israeli scientists in the US.

“The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program, together with ScienceAbroad, recognizes the challenges scholars face when transitioning from a postdoc abroad to their own independent lab in Israel,” said Lina Deshilton, Zuckerman Israel Institute’s – Executive Director. “The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program and ScienceAbroad will continue to work together to advance scientific achievements and help facilitate the return of great minds to Israel”
